Lukas Tulovic visits us on our track.

Recently, Lukas Tulovic, a German rider participating in the Moto 2 World Championship, visited our circuit to execute some days of training and preparation.

For those who have not heard of Lukas Tulovic, he is the Champion of the FIM CEV Moto2 European Championship with the Liqui Moly Intact JuniorGP Team, achieving a total of 7 victories, 11 podiums, and six poles out of a total of 11 races held.

His great results have allowed him to compete this year in the Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP Moto2 team where he is adapting to the tough category.

In addition, Lukas has participated during the years 2020, 2021, and 2022 in the MotoE World Championship, where in 2021, he achieved 8th position in the championship with the Tech3 E-Racing team with an Energica electric motorcycle with 161 HP of power and an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds.

During his stay at our circuit, we asked him to sign our wall of champions, as you can see in the photos we attach:

June 11th, 2023. One of the races of the already usual Intercommunity / Open Minispeed Championship will take place in our circuit where the following categories will compete:

Máximo Quiles, Murcia Motorcycling promise visited our circuit.

Last March, Máximo Martínez Quiles, current driver of the Red Bull Rookies Cup competition, was at our circuit, working on preparing for the new season.

Máximo has been in the news recently for appearing alongside Marc Márquez at the Motorland circuit, participating in a day of joint training. As indicated in various media, the company created by Marc Márquez to manage the pilot’s rights has also taken over those of the Murcian pilot.

Máximo began competing in 2017 when he was proclaimed champion of Spain 4’2 mini motos and 4’2 cradle champions, motoDes mini 4’2, and of the Levante Cup 4’2.

In 2018, at only ten years old, he finished third in the Spanish Mini Gp 110 championship and was crowned as European Mini Gp O-160 champion.

In 2019, he won the Spanish Mini Gp 190 champion title and finished tenth in the Spanish Superbike Moto 4 Championship.

In 2021, he was part of the Team Honda Laglisse team, with which he competed and won the European Talent Cup at just 13 years old.1

In 2022, he competed for the first time in the MotoGP Rookies Cup, where he finished in third position in the 2022 edition, winning the last test held in Valencia.

Taking advantage of his visit, Máximo signed on our Wall of Champions.

Pedro Acosta visits our circuit!

Recently, the Moto 3 World Champion and current rider of the official KTM Moto 2 team, Pedro Acosta from Murcia, took the opportunity to visit our circuit and enjoy our track.

For several hours, in several entries onto the track, the rider put the demanding technical layout to the test, and once again demonstrated his expertise on the back of his mount.

In addition, Pedro signed our Champions Mural, as you can see in the photos we took to immortalize the moment.

Pedro Acosta (18 years old), colloquially known as the Mazarrón shark and originally from Puerto de Mazarrón, competed in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup in 2019, finishing in second position thanks to his good results, thus achieving runner-up.

Already in 2020, he participates in both the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup and the FIM CEV Moto3 Junior World Championship. In the Rookies Cup he became the first driver to achieve six consecutive victories.

As a result of this excellent work, he was crowned Rookies champion, and reached third place on the podium in the FIM CEV Moto 3 Junior, which brought him to the attention and under the gaze of the Red Bull KTM Ajo team, with whom he finally started the 2021 season in which after brilliant performances such as that of Qatar coming out of the pit line and achieving victory, they made him win the World Championship, becoming the youngest Spanish world champion in history.

In 2022, he made the move to the Moto 2 category, where he managed to climb back to the top of the podium 3 times at the end of the season, finishing 5th in the final standings.

This year 2023 it is a clear contender for the title and in the 3 days that we have been in the championship as of the date of publication of this news, it already has two first places in Portugal and America.

Tony Arbolino rides on our circuit!

Approximately 2 weeks ago, World Championship Moto2 rider Tony Arbolino was at our circuit, enjoying our facilities, and making the most of his mount on our track.

Toni Arbolino (22 years old), is originally from the Milan region. He has been present in the Motorcycle World Championship since 2017. During this time, he has achieved a total of 6 victories, 17 podiums, 6 pole positions and 3 fastest laps.

From 2017 to 2020 he has been riding Moto 3 with Honda, and it was in 2021 when he made the move to Moto 2 and became part of the Liqui Moly Intact GP squad.

Last season, he was very close to getting bronze in the world championship, reaching 4th position.

For this year 2023, he will fight for the world title, riding a Kalex in the Elf Marc VDS Racing Team.

Below, we share several images of his stay in our facilities, where he stopped to sign on the wall of the champions.

Jonas Folger, Marcel Schrötter, Scott Ogden pay us a visit!

Last January, the 3 pilots enjoyed several training days at our facilities, enjoying the good weather we had, and signing on our wall of champions.

For those who don’t know them, Jonas Folger, is a 29-year-old German rider, who is currently racing in the Superbike World Championship, but has spent 6 seasons in Moto 3 (2008-2013), another 4 in Moto 2 ( 2014-2016, 2019) where he achieved 3 victories, 10 podiums, 2 pole positions and 5 fastest laps and one in Moto GP 2017 where he achieved a podium and 2 fastest laps during the season.

In 2020, already in Superbikes, he raced in the ranks of BMW and to this day, he races in the ranks of Bonovo MGM Racing with a BMW M1000RR.

Taking advantage of his visit to our facilities, we took the opportunity to meet him and kindly ask him to sign our wall of champions.

Marcel Schrötter

For his part, Marcel Schrötter currently competes in the MV Agusta Reparto Corse of the Supersport World Championship. At 30 years old, Marcel has spent the last 15 years in the Dorna World Championship, going through the Moto 3 and Moto 2 classes.

Thus, from 2008 to 2012, Marcel participated in the extinct 125cc championship and also in Moto. Starting in 2012, he made the leap to Moto2 where he has achieved, among other results, 5 podiums and 3 pole positions.

Scott Odgen

Lastly, Scott is the youngest of the 3. At just 19 years old, Scott has been champion of the British Talen Cup and this 2023 he will face his second year in Moto 3 in the ranks of the VisionTrack Racing Team. To this day, Scott is one of the most promising promises of British motorcycling.

In the same way, we attach the track layout for both categories, where it can be seen that the direction will be the opposite of the usual one. In both categories there will be a small chicane on the main straight.

Borja Gómez, Moto2 rider, visited our circuit.

Borja Gómez, who will participate next year in the Moto2 World Championship in the Fantic Racing Team, came to our facilities this weekend, and signed on our mural of champions.

For those who do not know Borja, say about him that he is the Spanish SuperSport 600 Champion, and that this season, he has risen to second place on the podium in the Spanish ESBK Superbike Championship.

As a result of the excellent results achieved in these 2 seasons, he had the opportunity to participate in the last 2 sessions of the Moto2 world championship, in the ranks of the Flexbox HP40 in Malaysia.

From here, we want to send Borja our support and total affection, wishing him the best possible luck for the next season.

Sam Lowes, Moto2 rider visits our facilities.

Sam Lowes, British rider who participates in the Moto2 world championship (Elf Marc VDS Racing Team), visited our facilities this week, and was able to enjoy our track making several entries on the track.

For those who don’t know him, Sam Lowes is theWorld Champion in the Supersport 600 category in 2013. In 2017 he participated with the Aprilia Racing Team Gresini in MotoGp and during his time in Moto2 he managed to get on the championship podium in 2020, where he reached the 3rd position of it.

Taking advantage of his visit, Sam kindly gave us an autograph in our cafeteria. If you want to see it, we encourage you to come see it.

Región de Murcia Karting Championship

Last weekend (November 19 and 20, 2022), the last round of the Región de Murcia Karting Championship was held at our circuit. An event where you could see beautiful battles, which decided the champions of each of the categories that were disputed.

In the Mini category, Tony Cachafeiro was proclaimed champion of the category. They completed the podium with him, Pau Gallego and Javier Broasca. Pedro Tovar won the Peregrín Trophy.

Continuing with the Pre-Mini category, Carlos Garrido managed to prevail over his rivals, achieving the title of Regional Champion.

On the other hand, in the Junior category, David Santamaría did the same, crowning himself champion. In this sense, Thomas Hanser managed to win the Pilgrim Trophy.

Seniors’ turn, in the Senior category, Mario Pinazo took the title of Champion after a disputed day with Nerea Martí, W-Series pilot. Jaime Sala won the Peregrín trophy.

We now reached the DD2 and KZ categories, where the absent Jeremy Carbila took the title, although the winners of the sleeves were Juan José Sánchez and José Roberto Tovar in that order.

Jose Antonio Peñalta took the DD2 title, thus closing the event and the 2022 season.
